I photograph weddings beyond the UK, including France, Italy and Greece, with the same documentary discipline and refined editorial approach.
Each setting brings its own light and architectural character. I allow the environment and atmosphere to influence both portraiture and documentary moments.
Artistry Abroad
Within historic châteaux, Italian villas and private estates, architecture provides scale and geometry; stone corridors, formal gardens and expansive terraces become part of the frame.
I respond to these environments by shaping portraits with structure, which enhances rather than overwhelms.
Colour is treated with intention. Texture and tonal depth are developed carefully, and black and white is reserved for images where it adds strength and definition.
The Destination Narrative
Weddings abroad frequently extend beyond a single day; outdoor ceremonies, family meals and celebrations continue into warm evenings and multiple days.
I observe and record these occasions discreetly, allowing the atmosphere to shape the narrative. I use the architecture, landscape and light within the frame, anchoring the story to its setting.
Setting & Atmosphere
Place matters. Terracotta courtyards, olive groves, vaulted ceilings and candlelit halls each shape the way light falls and space is perceived.
