Provence Wedding Photographer

I was commissioned to photograph a destination wedding in Provence, set within a private medieval family estate in a small village north of Montpellier.

The stone architecture, village church and surrounding landscape provided depth, texture and proportion throughout the day. The property’s grounds, including a river and historic mill, offered strong structural elements that allowed portraiture to be composed deliberately within the environment rather than staged against it.

Working in Provence requires sensitivity to both architecture and light. The result was imagery shaped by place and atmosphere, refined yet grounded in the character of the region.

The medieval stonework and narrow village setting provided natural perspective and framing, while the river and disused mill added texture and contrast to the landscape. I composed within these features confidently, allowing the environment to inform the structure of the images. See more International Commissions.

If you are planning a wedding in Provence or elsewhere in the South of France and value a considered, architectural approach to photography, I would be pleased to hear more about your plans.
